It Started with a Widow's Oil
The BVS Network was born from a deep study of 2 Kings 4:1-7 — the story of the prophet Elisha and the widow in debt. When she came to Elisha in desperation, he didn't give her money or solve her problem directly. Instead, he gave her a principle.
"Go, borrow vessels from everywhere, from all your neighbors—empty vessels; do not gather just a few." Then he told her to pour out what she had — her small jar of oil — into every vessel she collected.
The oil kept flowing until she ran out of vessels to fill. Her abundance was limited only by how many containers she was willing to collect — how many people she was willing to pour into.
"The lesson was clear: multiplication comes through generosity. The more you pour out, the more flows back to you. But you have to pour FIRST."
